Kiddie Park

We went to the Kiddie Park in Bartlesville last Friday night. (I am constantly at least a week behind on my blog!) The kids had a great time and they looked so cute. We kept getting asked about their clothes. This was Landyn's first trip and he was loving it!

Emalee held Landyn on the ferris wheel. She did a great job.

I rode the roller coaster with Emalee and Amanda rode with Kealyn. I think we are getting too old because I felt like I had been through a tornado when I was finished.

He was so cute when he rode the cars. He was the littlest one riding and the teenage girls who were operating the ride were fighting over who got to get him out when the ride was over. He just smiled at everyone as the car went around.

So cute.

First Trip to the Zoo

We went to the zoo last Sunday and had a great time. It was very busy, but we still had a great time showing Landyn the animals for the first time and riding the train. He had a great time, especially when we bought the ice cream.

Loving the ice cream

He was so tired when we left the zoo. He fell asleep within 2 minutes of us leaving without even sucking his fingers. I have not seen him do that since he was tiny. Such an angel.

New Car Seat

Landyn got to move into his big boy car seat. It was bittersweet because I cannot believe he is already this big, but now he can see the DVD player!

Here he is trying out his new car seat in the living room. He loves it!!!

About to fall asleep watching "Praise Baby"

This baby is a mess!!!!

What do all of these items have in common? Dont cheat!!!!

They have all been in Landyn's mouth in the past couple of weeks!!!!! I was in my room for a minute and came back into the living room and saw him sucking on something and I found the end of the door stopper in his mouth. I freaked out! It was perfect choking size. It scared me so bad. A different day I had him in his bouncer seat in the bathroom while I was taking a shower and when I got out of the shower I found the round battery in his mouth. I have NO idea where he found that! I have also found the top to his breathing treatment medicine, carpet (many times), and a string in his mouth. I promise that my house is clean. I have no idea how he finds this stuff. I have to watch him every second.

This is his new fake cry. It cracks us up.

He is now 11 months old and I cannot believe it. He has started to do so many things. He can do sign language for "thank you", "all done", and "bite" (sometimes). He has such a sweet personality and loves to gives kisses(randomly and when asked). But he also enjoys pulling hair and pinching me. He loves it when I say "OW!". I am not sure that is a good thing. He loves to army crawl and find things to put into his mouth. He also loves to eat almost anything and he does it like we are running out of food. His curly hair is so cute and I just LOVE him! Okay, I know, that enough.

Happy Birthday to me-again

Okay, so I had my last birthday party with Ashley and Teresa last week. It is always sad knowing that another birthday has come and gone, but I guess it is time to let go and wait for Christmas. Just kidding. Maybe.

Gracie, Gabe, Anna, Ally, and Landyn in their matching Chez Ami. So cute!

Happy Birthday Uncle Kraig

We went out to dinner for Kraig's birthday last week. I probably shouldn't tell how old he is-thats rude, right? Okay, I guess I won't. Happy Birthday Kraig!

A Day at the Park

Last Thursday I picked Kealyn up from school and then we went to the park. It was sooo much fun. Landyn had his first ride on a swing and he loved it. Kealyn had a great time climbing, swinging, twisting, etc. She also liked sliding with Landyn and pushing him in the swing.

Getting ready to slide

He was laughing so hard when she pushed him

KK held him in the car because the seat was wet where he was going to sit

Gymnastics Day

Last Tuesday Kealyn had a day where we could watch her at gymnastics. Emalee also had a lesson at the same time, but we were not able to watch her. :( KK did such a great job. We were very impressed. Emalee also did a good job from what we could see.

This looks painful to me, but I think that she was in the middle of a forward roll

WOAH!!!

Kealyn can do an awesome bridge!!

Landyn really enjoyed bouncing on the trampolines and crawling from one to the other.

I have a totally fearless baby. He crawled down this slide tunnel and loved it. This little boy was watching him from the bottom. Mom caught him when he got down there.

Ta Da!!!

Aren't they cute? Landyn broke both of his overalls because he was so wild. He was crawling and bouncing everywhere!

My Very First Mothers Day!!!

I had a great Mothers Day. We went to church and then came back home and had Kyle's family over for lunch. Around 4:00, we went over to Mom's house and finished the day up there. It was a great way to celebrate my first Mothers Day!

Aunt Mandy(Dandy), Jana (and baby!), Grannie, Laura, Nana, Me, and Karla (Mammy)

Happy Mothers Day Nan!

He was into everything as usual. He always heads straight for these frames that he can reach as soon as we put him on the floor. He is a MESS!

Me and my sweet baby Landyn. I am SO blessed with a great Mother and baby!

My grandparents

Okay, so you might think that I am a little strange for taking a picture of my child at a cemetery. But Mom and I took Landyn to visit my Mamaw there. I hadnt been there in a long time because it was just too hard on me. I missed her so much. But now that I have Landyn, I want him to grow up knowing about her. I know that she would have loved him SO much. We went to visit for Mothers Day and it was very peaceful there. Mom bought a chime to take and Landyn loved it.

He looked so cute in this outfit we got him in Dallas. As you can see, he is outgrowing his car seat. We have his bigger one, but I have been too lazy to put the new cover on it. I know, its sad.

After we left the cemetery, we went to Bartlesville. Landyn has started playing peek-a-boo with his blankie. It's pretty funny. Here is my first attempt at a video on the blog. Don't forget to turn off my playlist or else the noise might be pretty overwhelming. You might want to turn your volume down also because my voice is a little loud. (You actually might just want to mute your computer while you watch it actually!) I was just trying to coach him into doing his tricks! As you can see, I still ride in the back seat with him when I can. I know. I am one of those people who used to laugh at the parents in the back seat too. Now I am one of them. And I love it!!!!

My Papaw always goes to eat with us at Murphys in Bartlesville. It is seriously like a heart attack on a plate and it is very yummy. Papaw loves the girls and Landyn. He is the BEST and sweetest grandpa. I have been attached to him since I was very little. We were always best buddies. He always thought I was funny, but really he is the funny one. Im not sure they make them like this anymore.....

A fun day shopping

Our friends from Edmond came down last Thursday to celebrate birthdays for Mom and I. We went to Cheddars for lunch and then went shopping. They brought me these yummy sugar cookies from a bakery in Edmond. (I know you're thinking thats just what I need!) It is always fun to get the kids together. Thank you!

Mom's friend Molly holding her grandson Sam
Landyn liked playing on the stage at Kathleens and looking at the baby in the mirror

Poor Sam got his hair pulled by Landyn. For some reason Landyn really likes pulling hair. Any suggestions on getting him to stop? I don't want my child to be the mean kid!

Sweet Sam

Emalee and KK got to go shoe shopping with us. We didn't plan to all match but we all had on pink and green that day. We looked cute!

Cheesecake Factory

Last Tuesday we had a great lunch at Cheesecake Factory with our friend Lori and her son Luke. He is one of the sweetest boys that you will ever meet and he is so cute! Kealyn had a good time playing with him and eating cheesecake too! I always tell Lori that she is such a good mom. Her kids are so sweet and polite. I think that they must follow from their parents example. Something that I will always strive for is to have a life that models Christ and is a great example for my children.

A fun Saturday

Last Saturday (May 3) was lots of fun. We went to Kealyn's last soccer game and she scored a goal. She learned so much this season and we are so proud of her. After the game we went to lunch with Kraig and the girls (Amanda was out of town) and then we had Macey and Darcey over for the night. They helped us pick flowers and had so much fun playing outside with Landyn. They are SWEET girls! They finally got to open their Christmas gifts from us. It has taken us that long. We have tried to get together many times but it just never worked out.
Daddy and Landyn wore matching camo hats. No comment from me. I let Daddy dress him. (obviously!)

Landyn loved playing the pack-n-play while we planted flowers. Usually Kyle plants all of the flowers, but I thought it would be fun to pitch in this time.

Darcey wanted to hold Landyn for the picture so that you could see him better.

We left Kyle to finish planting and went for a walk around the neighborhood and on the golf course. They liked getting to push Landyn in his car.

The girls thought it was neat to see Kyle's deer and bobcat. They probably thought they were at a wildlife museum.

I sponge rolled the girls hair that night for church. It reminded me of when I was little and had mine done EVERY night. Thats right. I slept in rollers every night. But I'm thankful that my mom wanted me to look cute. It was worth it. Landyn let Macey rock him for a while too. It was so cute.
