Sleepy Boy

Last Saturday we went swimming at Kyle's Uncle Greg's house with his wife and kids. We had a bunch of fun. Landyn was so sleepy so I put him in this boat and gave him his blankie and the sweet little guy was asleep in about 2 minutes. I shaded him with another raft for about an hour while he slept. It was so funny!

Happy First Birthday Prince Landyn!

I cannot believe it, but my baby turned one on Thursday. We had a great day, but it was so sad knowing he was now a year old. We started off the day by going to "diaper dolphins"(where everyone sang happy birthday to Landyn!) and then we met his cousins at Chuck E Cheese for lunch. After lunch we had to go home to set up for his family party and he got to take a birthday nap. His Prince-themed family party was so much fun and he was very spoiled by all of the gifts and love. I am not sure I have seen very many babies who are loved this much by so many people. But he deserves it. He is the BEST baby!!!! Happy Birthday my sweet baby Landyn!!

Landyn was trying to break into his presents before we left for diaper dolphins

He was so scared of Chuck E Cheese. Poor guy. I love this picture because you can tell that Emalee doesnt want him to be scared. It was so sweet.

He enjoyed riding this ride

He was so cute in his Prince outfit

Landyn has just started crawling on his hands and knees. He is still an army crawler, but can crawl like this sometimes. I love how he sticks out his tongue.

The table turned out sooo cute. I made the plate. (I was very impressed with myself since I am not creative or artistic.) Thank you, Pam, for getting this picture here for his birthday! And thank you, Mammy for making the cute and delicious cake. Also, I have to thank everyone who helped this crazy girl get everything ready, especially my husband, mom, sister, and nieces. You are all loved so much!

Karla also made this little cake for him to devour

We had Landyn's favorite-PIZZA!

He wanted to take off his hat

All of the girls and Landyn piled into his new wagon. Obviously, he didn't like the idea!

We went outside and the kids pushed each other in the car and wagon. Prince Landyn rode around in his carriage while the princesses pulled him along. He knows how to work his birthday. He has a great teacher.

Happy Fathers Day!

We had a fun day yesterday sleeping in, going to church, having lunch with my Papaw and Mom, and then having a fish fry at our house for dinner. Kyle had a great first Fathers Day and I know that as Landyn grows up, he will have so much fun with his daddy. Kyle is a great dad and loves Landyn soooo much! We love you, Kyle!

Daddy opening his hand painted bowl with Landyn's handprint and footprint. He loved it!

Emalee and Kealyn got high fevers and headaches while they were over at our house. They felt terrible. Landyn had this same virus last week and now I feel so bad because I know his head must have hurt so bad also. Poor kids. They are feeling a little bit better today. Dad was trying to make them feel better.

Happy Birthday, Noah!

Landyn's cousin Noah had his 2nd birthday party last friday night. It was a "Thomas" party. Poor little noah broke his leg last Thursday. It is so sad because he was really in pain for a few days, but he is feeling better now.

Happy National Donut Day!!!

In honor of National Donut Day, I decided to let Landyn have his first donut. (Thanks, Molly, for telling us so that we could celebrate!) So Daddy brought one home for him and one for me(like I needed it). And, of course, he LOVED it! I love this first picture of him. It is sooo cute!

Right after the first bite. I think he likes it!

Stuffing it into his mouth. We will work on table manners later!

Look at those new teeth

I thought this was so sweet how he was crossing his feet. He does this all the time in his high chair and in his car seat.

Signing "ALL DONE!"

I said, "Landyn, where is your hat?" And look what happened.

Landyn's First Birthday Present

Emalee and Kealyn gave Landyn his first birthday present on Tuesday. It was a shoe box with his name on the top and lots of "treasures" for him that they found around the house. Some of these treasures included: a teddy bear, Mardi Gras beads, a small bucket, a noise maker, and a small plush football. It was the sweetest thing because this gift truly came from their heart. Thank you girls!!!!!

Diaper Dolphins

Landyn started his first swimming class on Tuesday. We got to Miller Swim School every Tuesday and Thursday at 10:30. As you can see, I must get in a swimsuit, but I guess it is worth it for my baby. He is doing so good and loves playing with all of the other kids. His cousin Noah is also in our class and they enjoy being together.
Noah and Landyn waiting for their class to start. KK and mom came to watch too. Thanks Mom for taking the pictures!
