About to WALK!

Okay, so Landyn is finally becoming a little bit interested in walking! We are excited about every new milestone and this happens to be the latest one. Landyn can stand by himself and walk with his push toy! Yeah!

He is also trying to do a forward roll. Its hilarious!

His favorite place to stand up-in his rocker! He got his first little swat here. He is a little bit hard headed. Imagine that....

Concentration

The other day he had on his jammies and Kyle was trying to get him to take his first step. I had the camera ready, of course. But then a thought crossed my mind and I said to Kyle: "Oh, stop! He can't take his first step now! He has on his jammies. Go change him and put one of his cute outfits on for the picture!" You can ONLY imagine the look that I got. Lets just say his clothes didn't get changed!

Olympics 2024-Here Comes Landyn!

Landyn started Little Gym on Thursday. He had SO much fun! I do have to say that he was the wild child of the group. All of the sweet little girls sat in the circle and played with the toys and did as they were told. My little wild boy kept crawling off at lightning speed and attacking the mats and equipment. He loved crawling and hanging,etc. But I think I got more of a workout than he did. I told Kyle this morning that you know that you are way out of shape when you get sore from Little Gym!!

This reminds me of the gymnasts we have been watching at the Olympics. Complete concentration. Now, just the dismount....




Nan came and watched and helped me video, take pictures, and chase down the wild boy!

When they brought out the basketball goal, Landyn just sat there for a few minutes and watched a little girl put the ball in the goal. He was watching with his hands behind his back like such a sweet boy!





He eventually crawled over and the teacher helped him.

He was crawling off of the mat and bumped his face on the carpet. :( He cried for a minute but then he was okay. You can see his little carpet burn on his chin.

Hanging Out With Em & KK

I know, I have not posted in forever, but it has been busy with Chez Ami and the Olympics and everything. (I know. What a life I have!) Here are some pics of Landyn and his cousins on the last day that they spent the night at our house before going back to school :( Who needs school, anyway?!?! We will miss seeing those girls almost every day. Landyn will wonder where his sissies went! Here are all of the kids after they got out of bed in the morning. Landyn demanded to watch "Elbo" and, of course, he got what he wanted from his 2 little mommies. By the way, you have to notice that all 3 kid have blankies and suck their fingers (or thumb). Its so funny.

Circus Playroom

Landyn got a new playroom for his birthday. It is very colorful and I thought that he would love to play in it- and he does. If he is not alone. I put the gate up one day and thought that I could get some things done around the house while he played. I know. Why would I think that? He is soooo the firstborn. He will not play alone for more than 2 minutes unless he is watching "Elbo". And he gets into EVERYTHING in the house!!! He unloads my cabinets. He is such a fun baby right now, but also a handful.
